MEGATRO Non Penetrating Rooftop Tower


The Non Penetrating Rooftop is a self-supported Light/ medium duty with a non-fixed square or triangular base. It is an economical, knockdown tower structure, triangular or square shaped with counter-weights, which brings a differentiated value to it. This type of rooftop is suitable for heights up to 15m.
MEGATRO Non Penetrating Rooftop Tower is a steel supporting structure especially designed to meet the mounting height and antenna loads requirements of communication system antennae (such as microwave, GSM, CDMA and so on). Generally, a tower consists of tower body, platform, foundation, lightning protection system and accessories.

Product Overview
MEGATRO Non Penetrating Rooftop Tower (Rooftop Telecom Tower) is installed on building to reduce the tower height and cost accordingly. It has flexible structure and installation to meet different requirements such as rooftop poles, rooftop guyed masts and rooftop lattice towers etc. Moreover, non-penetrating tower is especially designed for the sites without permission of any damage to ceiling.
At present, MEGATRO Non Penetrating Rooftop Towers are widely used in the world.

Technical Features

  Non-penetrating tower can be installed with prefabricated concrete blocks; therefore, the construction period will be saved at least 14 days compared with the traditional tower.

  Rooftop pole has tiny effect on building rooftop because of its very small civil work for foundation.
  Non-penetrating tower doesn't damage the building rooftop because of its special foundation design, base steel structures with concrete blocks.

Steel grades
Tower legs: Chinese steel Q345B, which equivalent to ASTM A572 GR50
Other webs, bracing and not stress plate and angle steel: Chinese Q235B, which equivalent to ASTM A36
Plates: Chinese steel Q345B, which equivalent to ASTM A572 GR50
Bolts: Bolt quality shall be Chinese Class 6.8 and 8.8, as per our Chinese standard, or ISO 898 standard or ASTM A394 type 0,1,2,3 requirements
The anti-theft bolts shall be Huckbolt Fasteners or approved equivalent.  The fasteners shall be manufactured from high tensile steel A242 or equivalent and hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM specification A153 and A394.
 
Fabrication standard: Chinese Standard or other standard which client accepted
A) Dimension and tolerance for angle are according to GB/T1591-1994, similar to EN 10056-1/2
B) Hot dip galvanization in accordance with GB/T 13912-2002, which similar to ASTM A 123
C) The welding will be performance in accordance with AWS D1.1 or CWB standard
D) All fastener galvanization conform to ASTM A153 requirements.
