MEGATRO steel range tower
is a type of fortification used in many parts of the world. It differs from a regular tower in that its primary use is military, and from a turret in that it is usually a freestanding structure. Its main purpose is to provide a high, safe place from which a sentinel or guard may observe the surrounding area. In some cases, non-military towers, such as religious pagodas, may also be used as watchtowers.

MEGATRO is a single source provider for these systems, and all components are manufactured on-site, including mezzanine towers with metal stairs and railings and insulated rust-resistant aluminum skinned booths that provide year-round comfort and protection for personnel. Ballistic rated booths are also available for our towers. They can be designed, engineered, and built to OSHA and IBC code, along with wind load requirements. All HVAC, fire resistance, and sound proofing options are also available.

MEGATRO steel range towers
also fabricated by solid steel pipe with angle or bracing members, or total lattice angular truss & mast, which provides great strength, low weight and wind resistance, and economy in the use of materials. Lattices of triangular cross-section are most common, and square lattices are also widely used.
After fabrication all towers are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers. If clients have some special requirements, we can painting them, even make pretty figure or other shapes to harmony with around environment.
