MEGATRO 115KV DC Tangent lattice tower
In power transmission line project, where the conductors are straight, a tangent tower is used. Tower structures are classified as tangent suspension and tangent strain. In a double circuit transmission line, tangent suspension and tangent strain tower often used. For suspension tower, the conductors are simply suspended from the tower, in this case, the tower is supposed to carry a downward force, and a lateral force, but not a longitudinal force. For a double-circuit transmission line, which has two circuits, both tubular and lattice steel towers can be designed so as to support two circuits of electrical current. Double-circuit tangent transmission towers hold the different conductors stacked atop one another, while in single-circuit towers the conductors are lined up horizontally.

This photo refer to our 115KV DC tangent lattice tower, which have double circuit  line and every circuit have three phase ACSR conductor. This 115KV double circuit tangent transmission line tower is widely used in oversea market, especially in western countries.
Since 2004, MEGATRO had produce and design every type of 115KV DC tangent lattice tower for our overseas clients. MEGATRO can optimized design and make tower less weight, high strength, proper span distance, good wind resistance, and economy in the use of materials, especially in tower design, we can make final weight lower, with maximum utility of material and make total structure more strong and sturdy. MEGATRO is equipped with sophisticated machinery and equipment for the manufacture of 115KV double circuit tangent tower, and offers a variety of designs to meet client specific.


Our main design engineer from USA, can use PLS &TOWER software to design every type steel tower based on structural calculations and geometrical frame drawings. To meet the expectation, we produce shop drawings, components list and full production documentation, and even complete 3D models that facilitate the elimination of all design and drawings errors generated on the drawings. Another advantage is our 3D design and loading & design report, and can optimized the design and save cost for our clients.


MEGATRO had professional QA &QC team to control quality and execute strict QC & QC plan as per client requirements. MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of 115KV overhead transmission line tangent steel tower. After fabrication all 115KV double circuit transmission line tangent steel tower, are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of every tower section. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies.
