Megatro 400KV Y-Frame steel tower
Similar to delta tower but there is no horizontal cross-beam between the two top structures (cross-beams at the joint or further down is possible). The middle conductor is supported directly by the top structures. It looks like character "Y", and when installed, the structure angles outward, and creates a Y shape, which is also one type steel lattice power tower, apparently carrying 400 kV, even higher voltage power transmission line, are used in high voltage AC and DC power transmission line systems as well as railway traction, and come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

MEGATRO fabricates every type 400KV Y-Frame steel tower by solid steel legs and angle iron cross members & pipes or only with angle steel bar material. Structures can reach heights up to 200 meter, even higher as per client requirements. MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of every tower section. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies. All tower material adopt Chinese steel or international equivalent material such as Q235B, Q345B, ASTM A36, A572 GR50, GR65, ST37, ST52, S355JR, S355J0, BS 50B, SS400 etc.

After fabrication all towers are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.

MEGATRO angle towers systems can accommodate a variety of cross-arm. MEGATRO also offers a wide variety of accessories and mounts.
