The advantages of offshore wind power compared to onshore are obvious:
1. The sea wind is steady
Whether the blades runs well, the most important thing is to see the wind strength, the wind at sea is generally larger than that on land. The land terrain ups and downs have a great slowing effect on the ground wind speed, so the land fan is set up high, in order to use the high altitude wind, but because of the terrain problems, the wind speed at each height of the land is very different, which leads to large wind shear (vertical wind speed changes), making the wind wheel up and down the force imbalance resulting in the transmission system easy to damage. The sea level is generally flat, the wind has little resistance, the average wind speed is high, and the wind shear is less than that on land, and the wind direction at sea is also less frequent than that on land, so the wind energy at sea is very stable.
2. high wind turbine utilization rate
The power generation of the fan is proportional to the third power of the wind speed, and the wind speed at sea is about 20% higher than that on land, so the annual power generation capacity of the offshore fan is 70% higher than that on land under the same power generation capacity. If the annual power generation utilization hours of onshore wind turbines are 2,000 hours, then offshore wind turbines can reach more than 3,000 hours.
3. Single machine capacity is larger
The larger the single-machine power generation capacity of the fan, the more sweeping air area and the use of wind energy in the same place, that is, the more fully utilized resources. The larger the capacity of a single machine, the larger the generator, the longer the blade. The biggest problem on land is the transportation problem, the blade of nearly 100 meters long (there are dozens of meters when it is broken into two sections) is difficult to transport on land, and there is no such problem at sea, and it is good to pull it directly by boat. For example, the largest onshore fan project participated by Shiyou Electric is 2.5MW, and the participating Xiangdian Ping Bay offshore fan directly starts from 5MW. In the Chinese market, a 5MW wind turbine can obtain more than 400 million yuan of electricity from the air without consuming any energy.
4. Do not occupy land or disturb people
The scarcity of land resources, the red line of cultivated land can not move, the forest land can not be built and so on. With the development of onshore wind power, there are fewer and fewer places with good onshore wind resources, and the impact of wind turbine noise on residents and animals is relatively large. Some research institutions have specifically studied the impact of wind turbines on wild ducks. However, the construction of offshore wind farms does not have these problems, and China is a maritime power, the coastline length of more than 18,000 kilometers, ranking fourth in the world.
5. Close to the power load
A large number of wind farms have been built in the vast northwest of our country. These wind farms undoubtedly have to be transported to the electric load center along the southeast coast through ultra-high voltage and ultra-high voltage lines, and the distance is more than two or three kilometers. The offshore wind field is basically built in the coastal one or two hundred kilometers, close to the load center, and the wind is always wind, so it is very suitable for the needs of the electric load center.
Based on the above advantages, the construction of offshore wind farm is the development trend. Although offshore wind power is in its infancy, especially in China, in general all countries are developing offshore wind power, and in the future global energy supply system, offshore wind power will have a broader prospect than onshore wind power.

Here is general fabrication requirements for our transmission tower; however, both parties must discuss all drawings and confirm all shop drawings, technical specification, and which standard to conform.
Before mass production, we must received all signed approved shop drawings and technical documents from our client.
 
Our Fabrication shall be in strict accordance with detail Drawings prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer.  Fabrication shall begin after the approval of the shop assembly and tests.
