Megatro 115-kV Steel Angle Monopole
In power transmission & distribution line, single circuit, double circuit, or multi-circuit line often used, most for DC system, and some of AC systems. Where the power transmission line must change direction, then angle towers are used. Sometimes, angle monopole as main supports to change power transmission line, especially in urban power grid, also classified as angle suspension, angle strain, and angle dead-end. In some site, this is an angle pole, with a corner pole in the background, which leads from one substation to other substation.


MEGATRO fabricates every Steel Angle Monopole by solid steel legs and angle iron cross members & pipes. Structures can reach heights up to 200 meter. MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of every tower section. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies.
After fabrication all Steel Angle Monopole are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
