Electricity pylon, is a tall structure, usually a steel lattice tower, used to support an overhead power line. They are used in high-voltage AC and DC systems, and come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. There are four major categories of electricity pylon: Suspension, terminal, tension, and transposition. Some transmission towers combine these basic functions. Both tubular and lattice steel towers can be designed to be as electrical pylons. MEGATRO provide the electrical pylons for our esteemed clients. The Tower Line work involves Survey, check survey, and span calculations essential for tower extensions. Moreover, Tower designs and prototype approval is done.
MEGATRO provide many types of 33KV steel pylons for overhead power transmission for our clients, which is widely use for oversea clients, 33KV steel pylons for overhead power transmission is used for urban power grid. Till now, we had provided too many 33KV distribution and transmission steel pylons for African market these years.
MEGATRO is equipped with sophisticated machinery and equipment for the manufacture of monopole for 33KV power transmission line project, we have skilled worker with certificated welders, and offers a variety of monopole types to meet client specific. Tapered steel and flanged steel poles feature designs that blend well into the environment and require minimum space for installation. Flanged steel poles are easy to handle and install. Slip type with precision fitted connections allow quick assembly of sections and total poles seems uniform and harmony with environment, especially accept by our foreign clients. Pole sections are available with identical base flange plates, allowing for simplified modifications of mounting heights.
In material we often adopt mild steel (ASTM A36, Q235B), high strength and lower alloy (ASTM A572 GR50, GR65, Q345B, Q345C, Q420, Q460, S355J0, S355JR and equivalent materials). MEGATRO can optimize design and adjust monopole size to make it less weight, solid strength and economic cost. For tower surface, we adopt hot-dipped galvanization, or zinc coating on towers and components to meet ASTM-A123 standards or client accept standard...
