Megatro 1000kv Power Transmission Line Steel Tower (UHV TOWER)

1000KV power transmission line system is at new voltage level in China, which belongs to ultra high voltage (UHV) transmission tower, and its fabrication more complicated. MEGATRO provided top quality towers for 1000KV power transmission line for Chinese clients. These type towers concerns many aspect for design, loadings, fabrication and other matters.

In material, we adopt high strength steel such as ASTM A572 GR50, GR65, Q420, Q460, S355J0, S355J0, Fe510, ST52 or other equivalent steel to meet project requirements. MEGATRO can optimized design and make tower solid, high strength, proper span distance, good wind resistance, and economy in the use of materials. MEGATRO is equipped with sophisticated machinery, and welded workers and equipment for the manufacture of 1000KV power transmission line tower (UHV tower), to ensure higher level quality. Before mast production, our engineer often take longer time communication with buyer engineer to discuss technical requirements and drawings, until final drawings confirmed, then we start order again.

MEGATRO also offers a variety of designs to meet client specific. Lattices of angular and triangular cross-section are most common, and square lattices are also widely used. After fabrication all 1000KV power transmission line tower, are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
