Product Description

MEGATRO Type WGT Guyed steel Tower is an all-welded tower that can be designed for any loading scenario. An all-welded tower has the advantage of lower erection costs because each 20-foot section is ready to stack when delivered to the tower site.
MEGATRO Type WGT Guyed steel Tower is a triangular tower with face widths from 24 inches to 60 inches on a side. Member sizes are varied during fabrication to meet tower design loading. Legs are constructed of mill certified structural pipe or solid round steel with a minimum yield strength of 50 ksi, while horizontal and diagonal bracing members are of ASTM A-36 solid round steel or structural angle. Tower sections are joined with bolted flange plates
Towers come complete with climbing ladders and a cable-type safety climb system. Towers can have climbing members integrated into one face of the tower or have external ladders constructed per TIA-222-G.


All towers are hot-dip galvanized after fabrication according to ASTM designation A-123. Towers can be factory painted upon request, but with proper lighting, the painting of these towers can be totally eliminated, and maintenance is kept to a minimum.
All fasteners are hot dip galvanized and meet or exceed ASTM A-325 specifications.
