Product Description

MEGATRO provide design and fabrication of A-frame dead end Substation structures for our overseas clients.
A-frame dead end structure seems like character A and located at end of substation structure. Our A-frame dead end structures have features as follow:

Certified drawings & calculation package provided
Galvanized to ASTM A123
Design codes and specifications:
Industry: NESC, IEEE standard 605, and ASCE Manual 113
Wind: Per 2009 IBC & ASCE/SEI7-05
Seismic: Per 2006 IBC section 1613, ASCE 7-05 section 15.1.3 &12.8
Welding: ANSI/AWS D1.1-06
In material, we adopt high strength steel such as ASTM A572 GR50, GR65, Q420, Q460, S355J0, S355J0, Fe510, ST52 or other equivalent steel to meet project requirements. MEGATRO can optimize design and make A-frame dead end structure solid, high strength, proper span distance, good wind resistance, and economy in the use of materials.
After fabrication all A-frame dead end structure, are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. A-frame dead end structures are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
