Megatro High Tension Transmission Line
The transmission tower and pole structures generally comprise two types - tension structures and suspension structures. Tension tower was located between every three or four suspension tower to pull the conductors which are re-tied in tension tower insulators. This photo refers to our 132KV single circuit tower, which have three phase conductor and arranged in triangular shape. 

Tension towers are characterised by a 'heavier' appearance due to the larger section sizes and conductors at the ends of the cross-arms using insulators in a near horizontal orientation. Tension structures are designed to carry the weight (vertical load) of the conductors, and transverse (horizontal) load from wind on the conductors, longitudinal conductor tension loads, earth wires and the structure itself. These structures are required at all changes in direction of the alignment greater than 2° or where termination sites have been predetermined to facilitate line construction and operation. These structures are designed to withstand high longitudinal loading on the structure, which cannot be accommodated by the lighter suspension structures.

Tension structures are also used in 'uplift' positions. Uplift describes the loading condition where in the absence of sufficient vertical gravity, loads may potentially cause a suspension insulator string to swing unacceptably close to the body of the structure under certain loading conditions, thus reducing electrical clearance. This situation can occur on a structure located at the base of a hill or steep terrain and may be resolved by using a tension tower with its different insulation configuration even though the loading conditions would not normally require one at this location. These structures may also be used for terminations at the end of the line, such as will occur on the approaches to the landing bays of the various substations.
 
From 2011, Our company had designed and export 132KV tower to some Asian countries, such as Myanmar, Singapore, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Africa countries. MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of 132KV single circuit tension transmission tower. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies. After fabrication all 132KV single circuit tension transmission towers are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers. MEGATRO' 132KV single circuit tension transmission tower systems can accommodate a variety of cross-arm. MEGATRO also offers a wide variety of accessories and mounts.
