 Megatro 60m Lattice Meteorological Towers
This photo refers to our 60m lattice meteorological towers which we exported to some Asian countries these years, some of design data as follow:

This lattice tower design was implemented using CAD/CAE technology. Modelling design and assembly as well as finite element analysis techniques were integrated with platform. We design them by PLS software to improve and optimize the strength of the components for the specific system development.
This 60m lattice tower is designed to withstand wind velocities of more than 40m/sec with icing.
In the high altitude areas, (>1000) the heavy snowfall during the winter might build ice over the guy wires, which result in heavy loading of the anchors and the lattice structure.
Structure: this 60m lattice met tower sections are built by three columns fixed with circular bars forming a collateral cross section of 400mm long, and each section 6m long or as per client requirements.
The whole structure is manufactured out of galvanized steel with electro-statically painted in red and white according to civil aviation authority rules.
The tower base plate is made off welded rectangular steel hollow sectons coated with zinc spray.
The guy wires are from galvanized steel of a cross-section fo 12mm and a steel core of ultimate tension strength 1900MPa.

The anchors are placed in three concentric circles of legs where the center of each circle is the base of the lattice tower.
The tower can be erected using a gin pole and handheld tools without the need of a crane or trained climbers.
The lift anchors, where the gin pole is mounted, are placed 12m from the tower base, opposite the spread out lattice mast as showed in the schematic.
Optionally the tower could be erected by climbers.

Lattice 60m
The 60 meter tower model consists of 10 six-meter sections, and is mounted using six guy wire levels. This tower can be tilted up using a 12m tubular gin pole.

This 60m lattice met masts should be manufactured from steel (high tensile as required) and finished with a hot-dip galvanized coating in accordance with BS729.

Painting.
Paint system should be low VOC water based acrylic enamel finish. Solvent-based paints are not acceptable for safety reasons. Paint colour should match the standards laid out by the ICAO for tower/ Mast.

Megatro 60m Lattice Meteorological Towers
For this 60m lattice meteorological tower, Our MEGATRO performs in-house design activities by PLS software or other software. Our Engineering Department is boasting of highly qualified engineering who are conversant with international codes and standards. The work is carried out with extensive use of CAE/CAD via a large of computer network. The computer hardware & drafting software are liked to the CNC workshop equipment for downloading of information thereby eliminating error and saving valuable production time.

After fabrication all poles are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot Dip Galvanized. Poles are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.

Moreover, we offer cost effective range of development and installation service regarding as an additional installation service. These are further, designed for both government and civil communications and suitable for both far-off and short distance communications. For additional protection, we cover these with protective shield to prevent the radioactive fallouts.
