With development of china power grid and technology, extra voltage like 500KV is widely used in power transmission and distribution line. 500KV transmission line carries double or multi-circuits conductors. For a three-phase system, this implies that each tower supports three conductors. Three-phase electric power systems are used for high voltage (above 69KV) and extra-high voltage AC transmission lines. The towers must be designed to carry three (or multiples) conductors. The towers are usually steel lattices or trusses, both tubular and lattice steel towers can be designed so as to support single-circuit or multi-circuits of electrical current.

In general, we adopt more ASTM A572 GR50, GR65, ST52, S355J0, S355JR, Fe510, Q420, Q460, and equivalent materials.

After fabrication all 500KV horizontal gantry type tension tower are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot Dip Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
